 July Regional Meetings

 Don’t miss our July regional Meetings with representatives from two Fire and Safety specialists delivering the latest developments in fire compliance and your obligations for compliance with the legislation and regulations. In addition to speaking on common property safety the speakers will align their presentations: The QIA Group conducts safety reviews in complexes to ensure compliance. The QFRS representatives will cover the potential repercussions of non-compliance leaving some time for question and answer at the end of the night.

Mike Rossiter and Markus Munstermann, Safety Consultants

Mike and Mark conduct Safety and Condition Reports for bodies corporate and assist them in reaching safety compliance requirements. This includes assistance in the base documentation, adequate record keeping and the annual review of evacuation plans. The safety consultants will present examples of non-compliance to outline the issues associated with that.

Queensland Fire and Rescue Services

Trevor Rush and Bryan Bell, Community Safety Officers

The Community Safety Officers will directly tie their presentation to the findings of the QIA Group. They will outline some of the responsibilities of bodies corporate (and resident managers as their delegates) for buildings to meet current Building Fire Safety regulations.
