RESIDENT MANAGER TRAINING COURSE

ARAMA Sunshine Coast has released the 2007 education/ information course for the needs of resident managers.  This follows many highly successful courses over a number of years with course participants consisting primarily of new managers, other industry stakeholders and those about to be managers.  The course does NOT duplicate the matters handled in the compulsory modules completed for licence qualification.  The course covers those practical issues that are not part of the licensing course.

The course content has been designed to assist current managers but also those recently entered or intending to enter the industry and other stakeholders having an interest in the industry.

The course is designed primarily for resident managers in holiday complexes with some marketing content directed at those complexes.  Most modules are applicable also to long term residential complexes.  This is not a licence qualifying course, nor are there any exams or assessments involved.  Its purpose is to provide education and information.

The course addresses a wide range of issues facing the industry.  The course presenters are all people with many years of ‘hands on’ specialist experience in various parts of the industry.

It is expected that many present and intending managers will be able to develop valuable contacts within this important and growing Queensland industry during this course.

The course has been split into three separate modules of three weeks each (one evening per week) with a break of a couple of weeks between each module.
